
Deputy Mayor Visits Harley Street Health District to Spotlight Innovation and Growth
Harley Street BID welcomed Howard Dawber OBE, Deputy Mayor for Business & Growth and Chair of London & Partners, to their footprint
The visit – which was arranged in partnership with Primera - provided a valuable opportunity to showcase Harley Street’s position as a world-leading health district, home to pioneering organisations that are driving innovation, investment, and excellence in patient care.
The morning began at Hale House, where The Howard de Walden Estate has invested £42 million to support the continued development of the Harley Street Health District as a global hub for healthcare innovation.
The Deputy Mayor then visited several outstanding medical providers across the area, including:
- HCA Healthcare UK, delivering acute and complex patient care, concierge services, outpatient services, and rapid access diagnostics across three hospitals in W1
- Phoenix Hospital Group, now home to a newly launched Same Day Memory Clinic
- The Royal Marsden – Private Care at Cavendish Square, continuing its world-renowned leadership in cancer care
The visit also underlined how the Harley Street area is aligned with the Mayor’s Growth Plan, supporting London’s ambition to become a global leader in life sciences by attracting investment, accelerating health innovation, and fostering world-class research.
